Food & Fellowship

The Food & Fellowship team’s mission is to ensure a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for all persons. The team sets up all necessary components to ensure that, after services, everyone has the opportunity to sit and get to know each other over a hot cup of coffee/tea and a bagel in a comfortable & laid back setting. Doing “life together” starts after services while breaking bread together!

Production Team

The Production Team’s mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating a dynamic environment for authentic worship and effective communication while developing genuine community with each other. This includes operating stage set up, sound, video projection, lighting and live stream. We are here to break down walls and help redefine “Church.” We aim to present a message that never changes using methods that always change.

Nursery

Our Nursery ministry is designed and equipped to minister to children from birth to two years of age. It is our desire to have a room that is environmentally safe and clean; to establish an atmosphere of love and laughter for young children so they may experience the love of Christ from the volunteers caring for them; to give parents confidence (as best we can on our end) that their precious children are being cared for by loving and trustworthy caregivers and volunteers in order for parents to be able to sit and enjoy Sunday services uninterrupted. We believe every child can experience the wonderful love of God through our ministry.

Res kids

“Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). This is at the core of who we are in Sunday School. We supplement the growth of our church family. We are trainers, breaking down Scripture into bite-sized, palpable pieces for the youngest to eat of it, that they will “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8). Our passion to see children grow into adults who wholeheartedly knows and believes in God, because “blessed is the man that trusts in Him” (Psalm 34:8).

Men’s Ministry

Band of Brothers: A place for men to come together to be equipped in the Word of God, learn to pray, learn to lean on one another, and stand in the gap during times of adversity. One uniformed front toward the purpose of Christ, not only in our personal relationship with God, but as part of the church that continues to build up a strong foundation in men. Not alone, but together: the Men’s Ministry is a group of guys that just want to serve the community – for Men by Men.

Women’s Ministry

Women of Purpose: A ministry for all women – regardless of age, background or life stage. We want to meet ladies right where they are and come alongside them – encouraging, supporting, praying and equipping them in their journey with God through the various events we offer. Our goal is to equip women to have deeper, Christ-centered relationships with each other and to feel loved and accepted for who she is in Christ so that she is transformed and empowered to live out Christ’s love and grace.

It’s easy to feel alone, lost in the crowd and isolated when living in NYC. Being intentional about building community is one of our priorities as a family and church. First Principles Class

Level 1 is a 12-week course which is held on Sunday morning after the first service. And if enough interest is expressed, can be held during the week in the evenings. This course is designed to lead students through a learning process designed to teach them to meditate on the Word of God. It is based upon the Hebrew model in the Bible and on sound contemporary, educational research. The course helps to provide a natural study model that can apply to all areas of life. What makes this course so great is that you are a part of lively discussions each week, and it teaches you what it means to be part of a community of believers.

Worship Team

The purpose of this ministry is to glorify God and help people connect with Him by facilitating musical worship experiences. This ministry exists so that team members can allow themselves to be used by God to invite seekers into a relationship with Him and to encourage and challenge believers to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
