OUR MISSION
We exist to lead people who are far from God into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Founded in 1984, we are a family of families where people experience transforming love, authentic relationships and a sense of renewed purpose. Resurrection Church creates a welcoming space where people of all ages and backgrounds experience a vibrant relationship with God.
Discovery and Purpose
Throughout our history, thousands of people have discovered a sense of calling and purpose from God, expressed through ministries inside our church and in our communities. We fully embrace the historic Christian faith expressed in all the ecumenical creeds of the universal church.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
• Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second Person of the Holy Trinity.
He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified,
died and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the
right hand of the God the Father. He will come again to judge the living and dead.
The Holy Bible is the inspired, authoritative, word of God. •
It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant.
• There is one God, eternally existing in three Persons.
We see this in the Holy Trinity, being the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal.
Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. •
His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or of any human efforts.
• The gifts of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit manifests Himself miraculously today in the lives of believers with (the supernatural) word of knowledge & wisdom, prophetic utterances, gifts of healing, working of miracles, tongues & interpretations of tongues, discerning of spirits, and gifts of supernatural faith.
